Ongoing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy groups

These DBT groups are designed to work for all levels of DBT experience.
The focus is on using DBT as a language to explore and organize emotional experiences.

These are great groups for people experiencing PTSD, wanting alternatives to addictive behaviors, juggling high anxiety, working with chronic pain, with relationship issues and more.

Groups are run as hybrid psycho-educational/ process groups.

The focus is on building a supportive community through a common interest in using DBT to regulate and tolerate emotional experiences with a goal of building a life worth living.

The emphasis is on strengthening clients’ observing ego and self-acceptance.

Members get:
Concrete Skills and ways to incorporate them into their lives
Supportive group community that normalizes emotional experiences

Learn how to:
Pace themselves through distressful experiences
Contextualize experiences in constructive ways
Experiment with interpersonal interactions
And
Build supportive relationships

Each group begins with a brief meditation, provides space for each member to check in and introduces and explores specific DBT concepts, techniques and skills.

Groups are offered in Boulder
Mondays 6-7:30 pm
Wednesdays 7-8:30pm

Cost $50 based on a monthly subscription
One $150.00 Individual Session required before joining the group
